Art reminds me to breathe, to be mindful—to stay grounded in nature through daily walking (or hiking when I’m lucky!) and painting practices.

My work changes seasonally, as the land changes around me—but what remains constant is my appreciation for beauty in all places and of all sizes and the joy and pleasure I find in expressing it visually. While nature’s beauty needs no elevation, our screen-addled eyes often overlook the magnificent and quiet beauty all around us; my hope is that my work reminds us to see anew the world we walk through, reminds us to tread lightly as we journey through life and look out for the little moments of beauty along the way.
